American Airlines is extending its suspension of flights to mainland China and Hong Kong as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 --formerly known as the novel coronavirus --outbreak. The carrier announced this week that flights between Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and mainland China will now be suspended through April 24, as would flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and mainland China. Hong Kong-bound flights out of both DFW and LAX are suspended until April 23 and April 24, respectively.
